Lost Islamic History( The Abbasid Revolution)

           The Abbasids took there name from Prophet pbuh uncle (Abbas). They were settled from east of the Jordan River after the conquest of Syria, Rumors started spreading that a descendant of a caliph named Ali had to transfer the right to rule Abbasids. The Abbasids were more related to the Prophet then the Umayyads a strong Muslim group before the Abbasids. 
           In 747 the Abbasids declared their open revolt unfurlying their distinctive black banners in the skies above the city of Turkmenistan. These revolutionaries were lead by a person named Abu Muslim,he was a part of the Abbasids. He was a smart political military leader, which he secured control of land. which was a base movement for him.

          After the successful caliphs, the Muslims thought of establishing a Muslim state, which eventually they did, and it was ruled by a leader named Moawiah. Him and the previous caliph had problems between each other, but both of them were great inspirational leaders. A decision Moawiah made that would make him a controversial character and change the nature of Islamic government is that he appointed his son Yazid as his successor before his death.
          After many struggles the Muslims had, a former Byzantine official, Julian, appealed to the new Muslim expeditionary was under his care. Julian promised to a ferry Muslim expeditionary force across the strait of Spain to seek his revenge on the tyrant king. Also many other Muslim leaders traveled to other countries such as India; Many early Indians who converted to Islam to Buddhists and members of the lower cast.
